Frequently Asked Questions
How do I access my purchased files?
Open your order confirmation email and click on the link that says "Access your purchased files." This will open a browser window with links to download your PDF guides and access other resources.
Is there a limit to how many times I can download the guides?
Yes, by default, each guide can be downloaded up to 10 times. We recommend saving them to your device or cloud storage immediately so you don't need to keep downloading them.
What should I do if I run out of download attempts?
If you have reached the download limit and need to access your files again, please email the team at hello@loveandparis.co, and they can reset your download attempts.
Can I access the guides and maps on multiple devices?
Yes. We recommend downloading the files to your primary device (like a laptop) and then saving them to a cloud service like Google Drive or Dropbox to easily access them on your phone or tablet.
Who should I contact if I am having technical issues?
If you are struggling to download your files, access the maps, or use the Notion templates, please email hello@loveandparis.co for assistance.
How do I save the guides to my iPhone or iPad?
Open the file from your purchase email, tap the Share button, and select the Apple Books, Dropbox, or Google Drive app. If you don't see the app you want, swipe right on the app list and tap "More."
How do I save the guides to an Android device?
Tap the link in your email and select "Open with Drive" to save it directly to your Google Drive. Alternatively, download the file, open your Files app (or File Manager), find the guide, and move it to your preferred cloud storage app.
How do I find the guide on my laptop after downloading it?
The file will usually save automatically to your computer's Downloads folder. If you cannot find it, check that folder first.
I can't locate the file on my laptop—what should I do?
Try pressing CTRL + F (on Windows) or Command + F (on Mac) and typing the name of the guide you purchased. This search function should locate the file for you.
What is the best way to ensure I don't lose access to my guides?
We recommend "Starring" or "Favouriting" the files in your Google Drive or Dropbox app so they are always easy to find and open during your trip.
Do I need a specific app to use the digital maps?
Yes, you must have the Google Maps app installed on your phone or tablet. You will also need a Google account to save the map to your "Saved" locations.
How do I add the digital map to my phone?
Click the digital map link found inside your PDF guide (usually on page 4 or 6, depending on the guide). Once the map opens in your Google Maps app, it is automatically saved to your account.
Where do I find the map after I’ve saved it?
Open the Google Maps app, tap on Saved at the bottom of the screen, and then select Maps from the menu. Your Love and London digital map will appear in this list.
Why aren't the descriptions showing up when I click on the map pins?
If a pin's description isn't loading, you may need to close the previous pin first. Click the 'X' or tap anywhere else on the map to close the current pin before selecting a new one.
Can I filter the map pins to see only certain categories?
Yes, if you are using an iOS device or a desktop computer. Click "View Map Legend" to check or uncheck specific categories of pins. (Note: This feature is not currently available on Android devices).
Do I need a Notion account to use the itinerary templates?
Yes, you need a Notion account. If you don’t have one, you can sign up for free before accessing the template.
Where can I find the link to the Notion template?
The link is located inside your PDF guide. Look for the button on page 8 of the London Itineraries or page 7 of the Casual Tourist Guides.
How do I make the template editable?
When you open the template link, click Duplicate in the top right corner. This will copy the template into your own Notion account, allowing you to edit labels, add notes, and use filters.
Should I set up the Notion template on my phone or computer?
It is highly recommended to complete the initial setup (duplicating the template) on a desktop or laptop. Once it is in your account, you can easily access and edit it from the Notion app on your phone.
What if the template link takes me to an external site?
The button in the guide may take you to a landing page that says “Continue to external site.” Simply click the link under that message to proceed to the Notion template.
