No car needed. Every destination is reachable by train or public transport from Paris.

What if I’ve already been to one or two of these day trips?

The guide includes seven destinations, so even if you’ve seen one or two, there’s still plenty of value.

Is this good for first-time visitors?

Yes! Especially if you want to go beyond the usual spots—but don’t want the stress of figuring it all out on your own.

Do I need to book a tour, or can I do these trips independently?

All of these day trips can be done independently, with all the details you need in the guide. However, we also recommend some tours in case you’d prefer a more hands-off day. These tours are carefully chosen to make sure you have the best experience and make the most of your time.

Is this suitable for families with children?

We haven’t made this itinerary with children under 16 in mind.

Do I need data on my phone to be able to use the Digital Map on the go in Paris?

It absolutely works best when you have it. It will also allow you to get walking directions when needed, or transport directions when you’re planning to head back to your hotel once the day is done. In the guide, they’ve included a list of ways to have data on your phone so you can stay connected.

Which phones does the Digital Map work on?

It’s integrated with the Google Maps app, so it’s available for all phones that use iOS or Android operating systems.
